Coffee World is the largest and most significant collection of coffee and tea making treasures ever assembled. If it has anything to do with growing, roasting, serving, drinking or trading coffee, you will find it somewhere in this mammoth sensory wonderland. This is the biggest, best and most significant collection of coffee artefacts in the world, presented as one entire exhibition, for the very first time in history.

Coffee World tells the epic story of coffee, 1,000 years in the making. A labyrinth of light and sound brings over 2,000 coffee and tea making treasures from the past to life. These treasures, spanning 6 continents and dating back as far as the early 1700s, are the culmination of a life's work by Australian coffee expert Ian Bersten, who through 37 years of extensive research and countless trips around the world, has collected and traced the origins and history of every style of coffee machine.

The Coffee World collection has "pieces here that the original manufacturers do not have" Bersten said, "There are scores of pots here that are the ONLY ones of their kind left in the world".

There are plungers, filters, percolators, samovars, espresso machines, grinders, balance pots spanning over 350 years of art and design. Coffee World is all about choosing your own adventure. You are free to roam using hand held audio guides to explore the stunning displays and themed entertainment rooms.

Coffee World is not just for coffee aficionados. There is something for everyone in this fascinating, multi-sensory, and thoroughly entertaining world of adventure. Talking pots and theatrical audio visual presentations entertain visitors as they explore a labyrinth of 'themed rooms'. Special self-guided journeys using individual audio guides are included, and provide guests with a personal commentary, narrated by the original collector, Ian Bersten himself.

But your journey doesn't stop there. The totally delicious part of your Coffee World adventure is an all-day tasting of our incredible edibles! You get to sample, in UNLIMITED quantities, as much coffee, tea, chocolate and liqueur, which we have created, as you like. There are 21 coffees, where you can compare our very best locally grown coffees, to some of the world's finest, 4 local plantation teas for you to savour and enjoy, 3 lusciously exclusive liqueurs, and 12 incredibly decadent chocolates. Kiddies get special drinks, fun explorer packs, and even prizes.
